Bible Promises
Week of March 30 -April 4:
Phil.4:6,7:
" Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
1Pet. 1:17-19:
" And if you call on the Father, who is without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourself throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."
Matt. 6:25,26:
" Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather to the barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
John 14:27:
" Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid."
Matt 6:31,32:
Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."
1John:4:18,19:
" There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because he first loved us."
2Cor. 1:3,4:
" Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, was it comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Week of April 5-12
Matt. 6:34:
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
